Now that December is here we're enjoying some lovely seasonal songs at our workshops.

We've also received 120+ responses from our recent survey so thank you to everyone who took part. Once we've processed them we'll share the findings with you.

Meanwhile, we came across a very interesting feature on the BBC website about why singing is good for your health and especially singing in groups. You can find out more here: https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20251128-how-singing-can-improve-your-health.

This month has already brought us some welcome news about funding to support our workshops. The Norfolk Community Foundation has awarded us grants from two funds that we applied to - 'Empowering Communities for Mental Health and Wellbeing' and 'Connecting Older People'. Their generosity really helps ensure that SYHO can continue for another year.

And a recent film night in Great Massingham raised over £500 in donations for our charity. Amazing! - we are truly grateful to everyone involved.

Finally .... an apology. It has recently come to our notice that the 'Contact Us' form on our website is not working properly, so we haven't been receiving these email messages. We're in the process of fixing it, but in the meantime if you do want to email us please do so directly using our usual address: singing@syho.org
